Upcoming 2003 Events:

MIT Club of New Hampshire Initiatives

  1. Book Award - The Club is initiating a book award program and the first award will be given to a Bishop Guertin high school student who demonstrates outstanding technical skills and community involvement, consistent with MIT's entrance requirements.
  2. Teacher Continuing Education - The Club is initiating an effort, in cooperation with MIT, to sponsor a high-school teacher for a one-week continuing education program in technology at MIT. More information to follow.

Recent Past Events

Over the past months we have enjoyed several activities, including Dr. Alan Guth's presentation on an inflationary universe, an overview by MIT Professor Dr. Robert Park on his finite element modeling of the human eye, a presentation by MIT President Charles Vest on new happenings at the Institute, a whale watch trip, and a show at the McAuliffe Planetarium.
